Barnabas Beads

Handmade rosaries in several styles

These rosaries are handcrafted by the Rector and offered to you in a variety of styles and color options. All rosaries are blessed before shipping with the fervent prayer that Our Blessed Lady will, as she has ever done for countless others, lead you to her Son.

Each of these rosaries is available at the same, low price of $12 (USA). Shipping and handling in the continental United States are included in that price. (Shipping outside of the USA will be charged at the exact rate of shipping). Deluxe versions of most rosaries, with matching cloisonné enamel Crucifixes, are available for $15 (USA). Please allow 4 weeks for delivery.

All rosaries are made from beautiful 6 mm Czech fire-polished beads and are available either as pictured or, at no additional cost, with beads of all the same color. Please make note upon ordering if you would like this solid-color option.

St. Barnabas. Barnabas translates as "son of consolation." Our Lady's rosary has been a source of consolation to countless numbers of Christians who have learned to pray it with her. This classic black rosary comes with a beautiful nickel crucifix, a round profile of our blessed Lady as the centerpiece and has contrasting clear crystal beads for the Our Fathers.

Sacred Heart. "Learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart and you shall find rest for your souls" (Matthew 11:29). This rosary is reminiscent of the Sacred Heart pierced for our salvation on Calvary. The blood-red beads of the Ave Marias contrasted with the crystal clear beads of the Pater Noster call to mind the words of Sacred Scripture: "and there flowed forth from His side both blood and water" (John 19:34). This rosary is accented with a penal crucifix embossed on the reverse side with the words, "Behold this heart which has so loved men." This crucifix is graced with several indulgences. The centerpiece is an oblong rendering of the Sacred Heart with our Blessed Lady on the reverse side.

Ave Maria. Our Lady has traditionally been associated with the colors of blue and white (signifying singleness of heart and purity). This lovely rosary sparkles with crystal Hail Mary beads accented by deep cobalt blue Our Father beads. The crucifix is similar in style to that of the St. Barnabas model and the centerpiece is a lovely rendering of the profile of our Blessed Lady in a pewter-look oblong border.

Rose of Sharon. "I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys" (Song of Solomon 2:1). A beautiful and subtle look combining crystal-clear Czech polished glass beads with soft lavender beads reminiscent of Victorian rose. The look is accentuated with a lovely bas-relief center portrait of the Blessed Mother executed in a contemporary style and an angular Crucifix which carries out the floral motif.
